United Airlines, Chase and Visa Announce Multi-Year Extension of United MileagePlus Credit Card Program

CHICAGO, Feb. 21, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- United Airlines, Chase Card Services and Visa today announced a multi-year extension of the United MileagePlus credit card program. The extension continues the more than 30-year relationship between the number one card issuer in the U.S., the U.S. airline with service to the most U.S. cities and most countries around the world and the world's leader in digital payments.

The agreement, which extends into 2029, builds on one of the industry's strongest co-brand card portfolios with seven consecutive quarters of double-digit year-over-year growth and a long history of providing cardmembers with extra benefits that reward people traveling United's expansive global route network.

The extended agreement will build on one of the world's strongest co-brand card portfolios, with premium customers in premium markets. Customers traveling with eligible MileagePlus credit cards have access to benefits that make traveling United's leading route network better than ever including perks such as free checked bags, priority boarding and increased mileage earn on every day spending.

United Extends Mask Requirements to Airports

This includes United customer service counters and kiosks, United Club locations, United's gates and baggage claim areas. If customers refuse to comply, they may be refused travel and banned from flying United at least while the mask requirement is in place. This will be effective for all customers traveling on and after July 24 regardless of when their ticket was purchased. United also will strengthen its mask exemption policy by only excluding children under the age of two. United Airlines to Maximize Ventilation System During Boarding and Deplaning
