      At some point in your travels with United, you’ve probably come across employees of the airline who reached out and generously offered assistance to you or your fellow travelers. Those thoughtful gestures can make all the difference in your travel experience. When you settle into your seat on the plane or return home, you may have thought to yourself, “I wish there was some way that I could show my appreciation for that excellent customer service.” 
      Now you can. United’s Outperform Recognition Program rewards 101 eligible United® or United Express® employees who are nominated by eligible customers for providing excellent customer service. But it gets even better: You could be rewarded as well.  

      How it all works

      As an eligible MileagePlus® member you can participate in the Outperform Recognition Program in a number of ways: by using the United mobile app, United's mobile website, mobile.united.com, United’s Facebook page and here on United Hub.
      You can submit up to five unique nominations for this nomination period, which began on April 2, 2013, and ends on June 30, 2013, and for each period thereafter, to nominate eligible United and United Express employees who have helped you or someone else at any point in the United travel experience. 
      Note: The official program rules are available on each of the nomination options. By submitting the form, you’re agreeing to those rules.
      Whether the great service occurred at the airport, over the phone or on one of our flights, the eligible employees you nominate will be entered into a random drawing. If your nominee wins, you have the chance to win prizes too, through a separate random drawing. 

      Selection of winners

      We’ll randomly select 16 MileagePlus members as winners from the pool of eligible submissions. These winners could win two roundtrip United First® tickets for U.S. travel (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) or two roundtrip United Economy® tickets for international travel. Another prize is MileagePlus award miles in amounts ranging from 10,000 to 75,000 miles. This chart sums up the prizes for you.

      In a separate random drawing of the nominees that have been submitted, we’ll select 101 employee winners. The grand prize winner will receive $25,000, and 100 other employees will each win $1,000.
