In January we announced a new baggage delivery option for our customers. Now you can skip having to claim your baggage at the carousel when you arrive at your destination airport. Instead, you can proceed from the gate directly to your home, office or hotel and have your checked bags delivered there.

How it works
If your destination is located within 40 miles of the airport, you’ll receive your baggage within four hours after your flight’s arrival. If your destination is located between 41 and 100 miles of the airport, you’ll receive your baggage within six hours after the arrival of your flight.
Note: The service delivers bags to locations that are up to 100 miles from your arrival airport. For delivery to distances between 41 and 100 miles, there’s a $1 per mile additional fee. You may have your bags delivered outside of these limits for an additional charge that varies by distance.
Here’s how the service works:
- After you’ve completed your flight reservation, make your baggage delivery reservation. You can schedule this service up to one hour prior to your flight’s departure time.
- Check your bags at the airport and pay any associated checked baggage service charges. (Checked baggage is still subject to applicable service charges.) Your bag tags will be encoded with your baggage delivery information.
- Baggage delivery by BagsVIP will deliver your baggage to the designated location within four to six hours after the arrival of your flight, depending on your destination location’s distance from the airport.
You may waive the signature requirement for baggage that is to be delivered to a residence or hotel and BagsVIP drivers will schedule your bags for immediate delivery. If you don’t waive the signature requirement, you’ll be contacted by a representative to schedule a time that’s convenient for you to receive your luggage. Delivery to a business requires a signature.
Note: For flights that land after 11:00 p.m., delivery will occur by noon the next day.

Rescheduling the service
If you need to change your travel plans, you may cancel an order for baggage delivery service up to 24 hours before your flight’s scheduled arrival time, a refund for the entirety of the original purchase will be processed, but a $15 fee will apply. In the event that your bags are delayed for any reason, a full refund will be processed. See Step 1 above for scheduling or rescheduling the service.
